Events that we plan to organize and their respective in-charges

These are the FIXED events, ones we have already decided to begin planning about and are very sure WILL happen:

The following are the provisional events, ones that may or may not occur; depending on whether they will be feasible enough; obviously we need to concentrate more on these : since these are not fully developed ideas yet.

1. Music using Novel Instruments

2. Magic Show (chemistry?)

3. Crime Scene Investigation [CSI too cliche :( ]

5. Marathon (interrupted by puzzle solving?)

Overall Coordinator: Sumit and Sonali, since they are the ones who seem to have a clear idea of where they are heading.

As we don't know the contents of the events completely yet, the in-charges are required to write up a brief description of the events by next week, so that lesser debates are held in the meeting themselves, most of the ideas should have moulded into proper plans by then.

Good Luck to all of you in this elephantine endeavour, and I know you guys will put up a good show when the time arrives.

Till then get a proper idea of what we want to project our institute as and the amount of work we need to put in in order to make this a success.

The first time I saw the notice for this fest, i was pleasantly surprised at how well fed the ideas were : and since there is no dearth of enthusiasm in you and the talent to back it up; I'm sure we will make this fest count as a success.

Just remember one thing, too much debating on the issues related to your ideas may be adverse for the productivity as well; try to make the discussions healthy and constructive and learn to give ground for common good.
